Fly Me to the Moon advent calendar pre-order

Lanivendole have generously made a small number of their very special advent calendar available to Fibre Yard customers. This is a very special chance to get their full advent calendar in the UK including all the extras, including porcelain stitch markers and hand-poured soy wax candles.

In Giulia and Stefania's own words:

It's deeply connected to a brand new base we've been trying to produce in the last  2 years and finally it's a dream coming true. It is with hearts full of joy and trembling hands that we finally introduce you to LUNARIS a special yarn made with our heart to take you to the moon

LUNARIS is a laceweight yarn made from 78% French mohair blended with 22% Schappe silk with 500m per 50g.

This precious, ethereal, light and luminous yarn brings to mind stars, planets and galaxies, but ultimately Stefania and Giulia landed on the name Lunaris because of the shine and the desire to take you with them on a wonderful journey to the moon.

This calendar is a journey of the mind and heart, which does not require timetables or roads, a journey that we sometimes need to take to rediscover the dreams we hold inside, to nurture them and ensure that they occasionally reawaken and accompany us through difficult times, reminding us that in that space of ours that opens up when we knit absorbedly, there can be an entire galaxy waiting to welcome us.

This Advent calendar has been curated around this dreamy base.

Along with the yarns hand-dyed in Italy, Melanie Berg has designed a gorgeous shawl to knit with an array of shades we hand dyed for this mood, and you'll find both printed and digital instructions to knit it along the advent days.

The other items were curated with Agnese of Agnes Ceramics, with Alice of Lunaria Candles and with Cecile of Atelier Camelir to make this bundle a charming journey through space, to the moon and back.

Each Advent will last 25 days and contain:

• 15 mini skeins of Lunaris - 20gr each - hand dyed  in 5 starry shades inspired by the mood
• 1 shawl pattern by Melanie Berg both printed and digital
• 4 themed  soy candles by Lunaria Candles - handcrafted and delicately scented
• 3 porcelain stitch marker by Atelier Camelir, handmade and printed 
• 1 speckled stoneware moon by Agnes Ceramic, handmade to hold the candles
• 1 extra mini skein of Lunaris in a special color way exclusive to this Calendar
