Nutiden is a single ply of wool roving - the stage just before being spun into yarn. It's made from 100% Swedish wool, gently washed and dyed by hand with only certified pigments, salt and vinegar.
Using wool from traditional Swedish sheep breeds, each colourway varies in composition and feel, bringing out the best of the wool and connecting you back to nature and the source of your yarn.
The recommended needles are 1.75 mm to 15 mm, you can use multiple strands together to make thicker yarn, or work with a single strand for a light and airy, yet still warm fabric. The air between the fibres makes unspun fibre very insulating and perfect for Northern winters.
Available in 300g bags, with several discs of yarn in each. The meterage varies between batches with roughly 1400 - 1550m per bag. It is recommended that 300g is enough to make a sweater with 100 cm / 39" chest when used single stranded or 500g if used double.
This is the first time Nutiden has been made available in a shop in the UK and we are very glad to be partnering with Höner och Eir to make this possible for our customers.

I haven’t started knitting with it yet but I love the yarn and the color.
Great to do business with this store!! yarn arrived safely and quickly, beautiful yarn thank you!!!
Excellent
Such a beautiful yarn and colourway. Like hay with bits of gold, red and green glinting through it. And the unspun yarn is just incredible when knitted up into a garment. So warm and cosy but also so light in weight as a little goes a long way. Highly recommend.
Sqishiest soft yarn ever! Love it!
