The wood is very smooth and there is a nice weight to the winder. It can be clamped to a deep table or counter. The spinning is smooth and effortless. High quality product.

I love KAOS yarn - and to me, the halo brushed Alpaca is the best of it; it’s so soft, the colours are so pure - and you can knit it 2 stranded on 4.5mm for an indulgent, lightweight & warm piece - that dries in a flash. I’m a big fan, and once the gentle colourway comes back into stock, I may just knit another cardigan …
I also like the KAOS chunky Peruvian wool for a quick, warm knit - I knit Cocoknits “Emma” with it, no problem; despite being half the weight of normal chunky yarn. Let’s say I was skeptical beforehand but now I’ve knit 2. Love KAOS yarn…

This yarn has to be the most beautiful yarn I have ever held in my hands. The colors are extraordinary. Just opening the box was like opening a treasure chest or a delectable, decadent box of chocolates. Haven't decided on a project yet, perhaps a wrap or scarf.
