Blåne is a bulky weight yarn made with the fleece of Norwegian pelt sheep, a cross between the ancient Old Norwegian breed and Gotland. They have curly grey and white locks which leads to the muted colour palette when dyed. Lovely for quick projects and great for beginners knitters, as the great stitch definition makes it easier to "read" your knitting.
