A unique yarn in our range, Forgarn is formed of two strands of unspun Norwegian wool. It comes as a large, airy cake with 2 strands wound together and once knit gains some of the strength usually given by spinning, yet still retains the fluffy lightness. The airiness provides unmatched insulation, making it a great choice for over-sized winter jumpers and chunky accessories.
Spinners can use this as pencil roving, saving a lot of fibre prep time!

Hillesvåg are a fourth generation woollen mill in the town of Hillesvågen, half and hour outside Bergen in northern Norway. Using almost exclusively Norwegian yarn, they produce a sustainable soft yet resilient yarns.
So happy I have come across this shop online. They have such a great selection of natural fibres and at reasonable prices too. The Forgarn yarn is delightful. Contacted the shop with a query and they got back to me straight away. Eco friendly packaging. Will definitely be buying from them again and really hope to be able to visit in person one day!
