Raffia

Raffia is made from the dried and shredded leaves of the Palmyra Palm tree.  It is harvested from renewable sources in Madagascar.

Commonly used for crochet accessories, you can also use it for gift wrapping, pom-poms or as biodgradeable plant tye.

This is natural raffia rather than a processed yarn and comes in a hank of approximately 90 strands, each with a maximum length of 1 metre.
