Sølje is a 4-ply weight, made with the fleece of Norwegian pelt sheep, a cross between the ancient Old Norwegian breed and Gotland. They have curly grey and white locks which leads to the muted colour palette when dyed. A beautiful yarn for colourwork or giving great definition to delicate cables.
